Manuel Machado Carneiro has been appointed Hotel Manager at YOTEL Porto.
Throughout his career he has had the opportunity to work for different hotel companies and brands, gathering in his portfolio the positions of Sales and Operations Director at OMM, Vila Galé and Belver Hotels, as well as F&B & Events Director and Associate General Manager at Vincci Hotels.
Prior to his arrival, Manuel held the position of General Manager for the north region of the Selina group and LIVStudent Portugal, where he oversaw the opening of the group’s first unit in the Iberian Peninsula. In 2020 he was recognised as one of the top 3 professionals in Portugal in the category of “Best young General Manager in Portugal”.
The new Hotel Manager will be leading YOTEL Porto unit, which is characterised by being a project that aims to enable its guests a practical and relaxed stay, highlighting the best of the city. He will be responsible for the development and execution of the business strategy, team and resource management, and will coordinate all the operational aspects of the hotel.
Manuel reveals that this is a unique challenge in his career, to which he intends to actively contribute.
