Waiter

Mission: Prepare table service in the room/restaurant to maintain quality standards and consistency of service.

Job Summary:

  • Prepare the meal space;
  • Receive guests and present the menu;
  • Serve the food/drinks;
  • Present menu items and their components;
  • Communicate with the kitchen whenever necessary (waiting time, special requests and product availability);
  • Present bills/payments and operate with sales/cash terminals.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong sense of customer orientation;
  • Good appearance;
  • Accommodation in the Algarve;
  • Personal transport;
  • Availability for a permanent contract.

Education/Professional Experience:

  • Academic degree/professional training in the Hospitality area (or similar);
  • Previous experience in the F&B Service Department.

Language Skills:

  • Good communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
