Hostess

Mission: Prepare customer reception service at the hotel’s restaurant to maintain quality standards and consistency of service.

Job Summary:

  • Receive and welcome guests/customers to the restaurant;
  • Direct guests/customers to the tables and verify their special needs, if necessary;
  • Confirm reservations list and availability;
  • Manage waiting lists and inform guests/clients about estimated times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in customer service;
  • Ability to work in a team;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • Strong sense of customer orientation;
  • Good appearance;
  • Knowledge of restaurant etiquette;
  • Accommodation in the Algarve;
  • Personal transport;
  • Availability for a permanent contract.

Education/Professional Experience:

  • Academic degree/professional training in the Hospitality area (or similar);
  • Previous experience in the F&B Service Department (preferable).

Language Skills:

  • Good communication skills in Portuguese and English (mandatory).
