Certified Accountant
Mission:
The Certified Accountant ensures the legal, tax, and accounting compliance of the organization, guaranteeing the quality, accuracy, and transparency of its financial information. They provide technical and strategic guidance to management through in-depth analysis of results, fulfilment of reporting obligations, and the implementation of best internal control practices. They act with ethics, independence, and responsibility, promoting the company’s financial stability and contributing to its sustainability and growth.
Responsibilities:

Process accounting data (validation, posting, and filing);

Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and other accounts required for monthly and annual closing;

Prepare monthly and annual account closing;

Prepare periodic and annual tax returns and ensure compliance with legal and tax deadlines;

Perform administrative tasks related to accounting and finance;

Coordinate and support the external financial audit process;

Perform additional tasks relevant to the role, as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (preferred), Management, Economics, or a related field;

More than 5 years of experience in the field;

Certified Accountant (mandatory requirement);

Deep knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;

Experience in month-end and year-end closing processes;

Experience in preparing and reviewing accounting records, taxes, and tax returns;

Experience with various accounting management software – SAP (preferred requirement);

Experience in companies within the Tourism sector (preferred requirement);

English knowledge (preferred);

Excellent verbal and written communication skills and proven ability to communicate effectively;

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
